Week 1 - Sep 9-14, 2026

QB Justin Herbert LAC vs ARI
Why I picked them:

Herbert has a good matchup against Arizona. I think he can do great in this game.

RB Bhayshul Tuten JAX vs CLE
Why I picked them:

Tuten looks like the RB1 for the Jaguars heading into week 1. He should get a good workload and be productive.

WR Malik Washington/Caleb Douglas MIA @ LV
Why I picked them:

Both these Dolphins receivers have a good week one matchup against Las Vegas. One of them will have to step up into the WR1 role for new QB Malik Willis.

WR Alec Pierce IND vs BAL
Why I picked them:

Pierce was productive last season, even as the WR2 for Indianapolis. Following the trade of Michael Pittman Jr., Pierce signed a massive contract, showing the belief Indianapolis has in him to perform this season.

TE Kenyon Sadiq NYJ @ TEN
Why I picked them:

The rookie tight end looks to be a reliable target for new QB Geno Smith. He should get a good amount of volume.

RB Cam Skattebo NYG vs DAL
Why I picked them:

Skattebo was impressive last season, he is still unproven. He faces a matchup against an improved Dallas D-Line, and it may be safer to wait on him for week 1.

RB Rhamondre Stevenson NE @ SEA
Why I picked them:

Stevenson faces a tough week 1 matchup against a strong Seattle defense. He also looks to be splitting carries with second year back TreVeyon Henderson.

RB TreVeyon Henderson NE @ SEA
Why I picked them:

Like Stevenson, Henderson is also facing a tough week 1 matchup against Seattle. He is splitting carries with Stevenson, which lowers his workload.

D/ST Cleavland CLE @ JAX
Why I picked them:

The Cleavland defense is starting many leagues but faces a tough matchup against a good Jacksonville offensive.
